There are three main consequences to the problem:
War;
Natural disasters;
Less crop yields;
But the effects of these three consequences are devastating:
More refugees- will lead to population displacement due to war.
Hazards in coastal areas- Hazards in coastal areas will be caused by flooding and marine erosion.
Greater poverty- due to less food and destruction of homes.
Endangered species. Habitat modification and extinction will take place due to the change in conditions in certain places.
Melting glaciers- if temperature increases, species of fish will die or will have to adapt to new environments or chage their original habitat.
Food security- Warmth will cause severe problems with the state of the food.
Water shortages- The rise in pollutants and the increase of temperature will deteriorate water supplies.
More diseases- due to reduction of agricultural production.
